Biography

Growing up in Essex Adam started out in the business at the age of six, which means Adam has been in this business for over 30 years, he started out acting in many TV commercials such as Kellogg’s All-Bran, Daily Mail and Tesco’s.

​

This cheeky chappie went on to college and after three years of hard work Adam graduated and got a lucky break at ITV. He became an assistant floor manager for SMTV with Ant & Dec, he then appeared on TV and Films such as EastEnders, Holby City, Chucklevision, Spooks, Hex, Miss Marple, In 2 minds , Hustle ,The Match, Silent witness , Powers, Wedding Date , Being Julia ,The Bill and Last Detective

to name but a few.

Adam also received a BAFTA nomination for a short film called “The Adventures of George the Projectionist”

Adam has worked in many parts of the world from Turkey, Egypt, Portugal, Spain, Crete and the Canary Islands. Adam has worked and trained for some major overseas company’s such as Thompson (TUI), Thomas Cook & First Choice.

It’s here after working 5 years abroad where he developed his natural ability to make people laugh, with visual comedy being at the fore front of his show, returning to the UK, Adam has played in many holiday centers up and down the country. These same companies have asked Adam to write kids shows for them.

So, if you’re on a staycation, you might be watching something I have written.

Adam also has a media company called MOSSYMEDIA, which deals with all things technical, from visuals, showreels, voiceovers & mixes the list goes on. Through this company Adam produces a lot of his work.

Adam has appeared in many pantomimes such as Jangles in Sleeping Beauty at the Theatre Severn Shrewsbury 2013/14, Silly Billy in Jack and The Bean Stalk at the Theatre Severn Shrewsbury 2012/13 and Wishee Washee at the Churchill Theatre Bromley, Alongside Melinda Messenger, he  also played Silly Billy in popular pantomime Sleeping Beauty alongside Vicky Entwistle (Janice Battersby from Coronation Street) for two years running at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton 2015/16, and Mansfield Palace Theatre 2014/15, 2016/17 Adam played Smee in Peter Pan  at The Mansfield Palace Theatre with Marc Baylis (Rob Donovan from Coronation Street) After a record breaking year at Mansfield he was asked back by popular demand to play Simple Simon in Jack and the Beanstalk alongside Mark Little (Joe Mangle from neighbours) in 2018/19 Adam returned to Mansfield as Muddles in Snow white with Sue Holderness (Marlene from Only Fools and Horses), and again as Buttons for the first time in Cinderella 2019/20.

 

During the lockdown Adam produced and starred in one of the very first online pantos in UK playing all 7 characters in The Covid Christmas Panto (on a budget) which did extremely well and to rave reviews.

After the huge success of his online panto Adam has decided to go online for February Half term for his new show MOSSY & THE PUPPET on Friday 18th February, written, produced and starring Adam (again) you are in for a interactive comedy show for all the family. “One of my proudest moments was becoming a dad while in lock-down to our beautiful daughter Poppie Jane-Marie Moss, She was the light in what has been a very dark time for everyone.
